Adults and children 4 years of age and older: The usual dose is one 200 mcg capsule inhaled every 4 to 6 hours using a ROTAHALER inhalation device. Some patients need 400 mcg (two 200 mcg capsules) every 4 to 6 hours. Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm: Recommended dose for adults and children over 4 years of age is 200 mcg (1 capsule) via a ROTAHALER inhalation device 15 minutes before exercise.
