Fatty
tumor

Lipomas are benign lesions
characterized by smooth, round or oval, fatty lumps that are located
under the skin. Most people only have a few. They
are generally harmless, and don't develop into
cancer. However, the lumps may become quite large, pressing on
the surrounding tissue, such as nerves and muscles.
In this case, they may be removed, surgically or using
liposuction.

A physician should confirm the diagnosis to rule out other causes, such as Abscess or
Lymphoma.

If the lesions become a cosmetic problem or are uncomfortable, they can be removed surgically with the use of a local anesthetic, or liposuction.
